Christmas Stocking Fillers

When I was a child I sometimes had more enjoyment out of the stocking fillers and trinkets than I did from the main gifts. They were usually full of colour or movement and caught my attention immediately.

Now I make sure that each year I have a great range of stocking fillers in stock for the children who are like the child I once was. They are kids filled with imagination and looking for fun in the holiday season.

Take a look at some of the great toys I have found this year.

Christmas Dancing Characters – I love these. They are cute wooden Christmas characters which have a moveable wooden base. Just push down on it and it makes the character dance around. Even very small children of age 3+ can use these and make the elf, reindeer, snowman, Christmas tree or Santa dance.

Wind Up Butterfly – You could make these educational by showing how the toy works but why ruin the fun on Christmas Day? Let your children wind up these pretty creatures and set them fluttering along the floor.

Santa Hand Cluster – All your child needs is a hand cluster and he or she can make music. Playing along with Christmas carols or learning about rhythm will all be fun because this is easy to grip and use. In fact, it almost sounds like Santa’s sleigh bells!

None of our stocking fillers are expensive and all of them are fun. They will stimulate the senses and the imaginations of your children and I suspect you will have as much fun with them as your kids do.

We are running out of time for Christmas deliveries so place your order now as these toys will be fun throughout the whole holiday period.

Donating Gifts

As we know, Christmas is not just about receiving gifts but can also be about donating gifts to people who may be less fortunate than ourselves.

As highlighted on our Facebook page we recently packed a big box full of toys that we sent off to the Salvation Army.

Each year the Salvation Army runs the Christmas Appeal for families who are struggling to make ends meet.  As stated on their website there are 25,000 Australian families that are homeless.  This is a staggering figure but it also highlights the plight many families find themselves in and often through no fault of their own.  Also, take the time to read about the stories that some families have faced and the hardships they have endured.

As you do your Christmas shopping consider buying an extra gift that you can donate although there are also other ways you can make a contribution.  Have a look at the Salvation Army website for more details and information on the different ways you can donate and help out those who are less fortunate.

Christmas Is Just Around The Corner

Christmas is now only about 6 weeks away - are you prepared?  Have you done all of your shopping?

To help you stock up with some gorgeous gifts for your family and friends we are offering lay-by which will make it a bit easier to shop and pay off in time for Christmas.

Plus we have a huge range of great gift ideas in our What’s New section that are worth looking at as you are likely to find some unique ideas.  A great example of this is the Rory’s Story Cubes that will really get the imagination going.  Story Cubes are made from nine dice that have a different icon on each side.  When you roll the cubes you can use the images to make up a story.

Also worth looking at is our On Sale section as we have a wide range of products that are for sale at a reduced price.  The Sound Machine can add some fun to any conversation as it has a range of sounds such as applause, canned laughter, drum roll, whistle and many other sounds.

If you are still not too sure what gifts to buy for your family or friends then consider purchasing a Gift Voucher.  In addition, if you prefer we can email the Gift Voucher directly to the person so they can start using it the moment they receive it.

Hopefully these suggestions are helpful and make it a bit easier to get your shopping done in time.

Lay-by For Christmas

Did you know that you can lay-by our products? With Christmas looming ahead, a lay-by system will make it easier for you to manage your cash flow while you stock up on gifts.

You can now order the toys that your children will love and pay for them over 12 weeks. You can start with a purchase of as little as $40.00 and all you need to pay is a 10% deposit.

We ask that you make regular fortnightly payments of whatever amount you can manage. We know that some weeks are better than others so we don’t impose a set amount on you. If you would like to pay out the balance at any time within the 12 weeks, that is not a problem. We don’t impose any penalty amounts at all, unlike some of the major stores.

Our lay-by system is there for your convenience. We know that you want to shower your family with gifts at Christmas and this is one way of making it easier for you to do so.

Once your final payment has been received, your order will be delivered to you within 5-7 days. You can order your gifts and leave them stored with us until the big day is almost here. It’s so much easier than trying to hide them away from curious little eyes!

If you would like to use the lay-by system, all you need to do is to select “Lay-By” as your payment type at checkout. It’s that easy.

If you’d like to read more about our lay-by system pop over to the website.

Then, start shopping!
